I recently purchased these motorcycle ear plugs and I am quite satisfied with my purchase. They come in a well-designed printed cardboard box, and inside, you'll find 2 pairs of ear plugs in different sizes, a user manual, a leaflet, a plastic storage case, a plastic storage box, and even a convenient neck strap. The ear plugs are easily distinguishable by the color cap on the end, with grey for the smaller size and red for the larger size. Inserting them is a breeze, and they are surprisingly comfortable to wear.
What impressed me the most is that unlike regular ear plugs, these don't completely muffle the sound around you. I was able to listen to music while wearing them at home, and though the volume was reduced, the music still sounded clear with noticeable bass and highs. On my motorcycle, the ear plugs effectively reduced noises, especially wind noise, which is always a welcome relief. Other sounds were still audible but at a lower volume than before.
The included metal storage case is lightweight and has a sleek gloss black finish. It features a screw lid with a rubber washer, ensuring it remains watertight. Additionally, there is a convenient pull back clip to attach it to a keyring or belt ring. Moreover, the stretchy neck strap securely holds the ear plugs, offering an easier way to carry them around your neck.
While these ear plugs are slightly more expensive compared to standard ones, they are worth the investment. They don't completely block out the sound, allowing you to maintain awareness of your surroundings. It is worth mentioning that they tend to attract dust easily, but the fact that they are washable solves this issue.
Overall, I highly recommend these ear plugs for anyone looking to reduce the volume of their surroundings. They are a great choice for motorcycle riders or anyone wanting to protect their hearing without compromising their awareness.
As an avid biker, I have tried various ear plugs in the past, often losing them along the way. Therefore, I had certain expectations when I purchased these ear plugs.
These ear plugs lived up to my expectations and more. They are incredibly easy to insert and remove, and once in place, they provide a high level of comfort. What I really appreciate about them is that they don't completely block out sound, but rather limit it. This makes them perfect for various situations, whether it's dealing with noisy offices, a partner's snoring, or traveling on planes, ferries, and trains.
The neck cord included with the ear plugs is a handy addition. It's simple to put on and allows you to easily pull the ear plugs out and let them dangle around your neck. This is especially convenient when you need a quick solution and want to keep your ear plugs readily accessible.
The small carry canister is a nice touch as well, although it can only accommodate one set of ear plugs without the neck cord attached.
Some may argue that the price of $17.99 (at the time of review) is expensive. However, considering the effectiveness, comfort, and the protection they provide against constant wind rush while biking or for a peaceful night's sleep, I believe it is a worthwhile investment and offers value for money, in my humble opinion.
I’m the biggest motorcycle ear plug loser there is. These hopefully will stay with me since that have a connecting elastic cord. The earplugs do a good job of cutting all the wind and mufflers sounds down so they don’t hurt my ears. These do a good job and I would buy them again.
Pretty good pair of ear plugs for the ride. Blocks just about everything from hurting your ears but a train horn at point blank. Might want to keep the holder in your pocket or bag though; after using it for a few months it will eventually fail and drop your plugs on the floor.
