I originally purchased the regular size a few months ago. And I realized that they weren't really very comfortable and didn't really present as discreet as they would be sticking out of my ears. A friend suggested that I go with the smaller size, so I purchased the petite. Now they fit perfectly. They're discreet, go farther into the ear canal, and I feel like they are better at blocking the necessary sound with allowing the sound that you need to hear in. The one issue is that it does take a little bit of getting used to since you hear yourself louder than you do anyone else and if you're in a loud environment you need to figure out how loudly to speak in order for other people to hear you haha. But that would be the case with any ear plug I suspect since that is how the human body is built
I bought these to use for loud stores, restaurants, and such. I am very sensitive to a lot of different noises and loud noise. Shopping days are often unbearably noisy, and restaurants blast you with music so loud you can't hear your companions. They work very well. They block enough of the noise to make life more bearable and enjoyable. I even wear them when the doctors office is crowded.
I initially bought the regular size a few months ago, but I found them uncomfortable and not very discreet as they stuck out of my ears. A friend recommended trying the smaller size, so I purchased the petite version. Now they fit perfectly. They are discreet and sit deeper in the ear canal, providing better sound blocking while still allowing important sounds to come through.
There is one minor issue though, it takes a little time to get used to them since you hear yourself louder than others, and in loud environments, you need to adjust your speaking volume for others to hear you properly. However, I believe this is a common experience with any ear plug, as it is the nature of our human hearing mechanism.
Overall, I am much happier with the smaller size. They are comfortable, discreet, and effectively block unwanted noise while preserving important sounds.
I purchased these earplugs before attending a rock concert in a smaller venue. I had previous experience with concerts leaving me with temporary hearing loss, especially when being close to the stage and speakers. These earplugs were like magic. They allowed me to hear the music clearly while filtering out all the background noise. It felt like wearing the best noise-canceling headphones.
Putting them in was easy, and they were quite comfortable to wear. I also appreciated the included carrying case for easy storage. What's more, my 23-year-old daughter also tried and loved them.
Overall, these earplugs provided a fantastic experience at the concert. They effectively protected my hearing while still allowing me to enjoy the music. I highly recommend them to anyone attending live events or concerts.
I use all different types of Hearprotek and love them all. Some fit better than others but I have a small ear canal and try to order the ones for me. These I used at a rock concert the other night and I could still hear the music but it took away a lot of the harsh noise from the bass
